In our quest to experience first-hand or from nearby the cultures of those alien to us we have crossed borders all over the African continent. It is an extremely large continent though and the numbers of different cultures are many. Remember that we prefer to stick to what is true and natural and stay away from the pretentious cultural experiences.
As promised we will explore the stunning Islands of Cape Verde even more intensely. As you know there are nine inhabited Islands and they each have their own unique charm.
The Richtersveld Transfrontier Park is a national park like no other. For miles and miles there are nothing but half-human plants and sand. Rarely will you see another person and if you do it is far beyond the horizon, yet somewhere between these miles of nothing, the best fauna and flora can be found.
In Kwazulu-Natal there’s a place surrounded by jungle. Where the Somango Monkeys hang around in the tree tops. Where the banded mongooses scurry around down below. Where the deep dark ocean is part of a new spectacular world. A place where you can be nothing but content. A place called Sodwana Bay.
Seeing and experiencing the Okavango River in Botwana is definitely a bucket list item for many a traveler. The essence of Afrika comes to life right before your eyes. It’s alive with the Eco system thriving in the air, on the land in the water.
