Known as the home of Rhodes University, and the host of one of the country’s longest running and major arts festivals – the National Arts Festival, Grahamstown is a definite must visit. It is lesser known that this lovely town is part of a extremely diverse ecological region in South Africa, with thousands of hectares devoted to nature and game conservation. Grahamstown is also known as ‘City of Saints’ due to the plethora of churches. It a beautiful little town with a bunch of stunning old buildings and museums.

Greyton is a small town in the Overberg area in the Western Cape, South Africa. It is truly a gem and an extremely well-kept secret. Due to the fact that Greyton is due for some serious recognition I’m going to go into a little more detail about this awesome little town.

South Africa is extremely rich in not only, minerals and culture, but history as well. So much has happened and so much is yet to happen. South Africans take pride in our history and the struggles we have had to endure and because of this everything was very well documented. We don`t have to fight in wars or be slaves to experience history, we can just stroll through intricate isles in beautiful old buildings and learn all about it.
In Kwazulu-Natal there’s a place surrounded by jungle. Where the Somango Monkeys hang around in the tree tops. Where the banded mongooses scurry around down below. Where the deep dark ocean is part of a new spectacular world. A place where you can be nothing but content. A place called Sodwana Bay.
