The Ras Mohammed National Park
Sharm el-Sheikh probably owns a big part of its popularity to this stunning national park. Being surrounded by some of the world’s best diving spots, divers flock here to experience these spots that are just off-shore. Speaking of shore, it also boasts with some of the most beautiful beaches Africa has to offer! The world’s second most northerly mangrove forest and a saltwater lake can also be located in this stunning national park. Also be sure to head out to the Shark Observatory Cliff where the views of the park are endless.
Thistlegorm Diving Site
This is one of the best shipwrecks to dive. This ship was on it’s way to supply British troops when it was sunk by Germans in World War II. It give divers the unique experience to dive amongst jeeps, motorbikes, and armaments that never made it to the front. This is an advanced diving site so it is definitely not for beginners.
This beautiful Bay with its stunning beach is the tourist centre of the area. It is a pedestrian-only area. It is covered with beautiful white sand and palm trees and of course lined with cafes and bars that are to die for!
