Major City – Mossel Bay

Imagine 60 kilometres of beaches. Imagine nice warm weather. Imagine the beautifully vast Indian Ocean. Imagine Cape Fynbos and the Outeniqua Mountains. Imagine the perfect mix between adventure, family, activities, culture, great local and traditional cuisine, pristine beaches, warm atmosphere and friendly people.  Mossel Bay is located exactly half-way between Cape Town – the provincial capital of the Western Cape Province – and Port Elizabeth and it is your perfect holiday destination when travelling on the Garden Route.

If you don`t have an adrenaline hunger but rather an actual hunger to satisfy I would highly recommend De Vette Mossel. This restaurant cooks your meal on an open air right in front of you. The atmosphere is amazing and the meals are awesome. Open air seafood restaurant on the beach. You will receive a glass of wine upon arrival. Eat for 3hours and as much as you want! Bookings are essential as this place is incredibly popular.

Maybe you’re in the mood for some wine tasting? Reed Valley offers a unique wine-tasting experience in the heart of the world-famous Garden Route. At the venue, you can sample exclusive export wines or you can sample traditional Portuguese cuisine with an African twist in the restaurant. Cosy up in front of our oversized fireplace on cold days or soak up the sun on the expansive lawn during the summer months.
