Dullstroom for a Day

The element stroom, ‘stream’, refers to the Crocodile River nearby. Dullstroom is the only place in the country where beech and elm tree grow; they were planted by Dutch colonists.
One of the coldest towns in South Africa, Dullstroom is the perfect escape for a romantic or family getaway with various luxury and self catering accommodation options available. Activities includes; flyfishing, horse riding, walking trails, scenic trips, birds of pray centre, mountain biking and so much more. Half way to the world famous Kruger National Park it’s an ideal stop over spot. All you need to remember is your warm clothes, red wine and walking shoes.

We recommend; having a beer at Anvil Ale House.
