The main camp at Thakadu River Camp is located between the Marico River and a small tributary of the Marico. The main lodge accommodation at Thakadu River Camp is made up of an open plan lounge, dining and reception area, with the pool and bar area. Guests staying at this luxury accommodation may enjoy the lush views of the gully and river to the north.
The lodges have been made out of wood and closely resemble the softness of nature. A traditional lapa falls within a glade of natural riverine forest and is the perfect space to enjoy the panoramic views that surround you.
Thakadu River Camp is a beautiful tented safari camp overlooking the Marico River. The main lodge area is built on stilts in the midst of the riverine canopy and offers a peaceful and serene setting for breakfast, dinners and relaxing. The 12 tented suites are beautifully decorated and appointed. Each tent has a sliding door that opens onto a private deck overlooking the river.
